Writing Assistance is a nationwide staffing agency. Currently we are looking for a technical writer in the New Jersey area for a full-time 2 month+ project. The hours are 10am to 6pm (not flexible), this is a work from home contract.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Originating story concepts, researching articles, interviews sources and gathers material to develop copy for internal and external newsletters, brochures, social media, posters, user guides and other materials.
- Writer, edits and proofreads assigned editorial copy, ensuring accuracy, corporate-style grammar usage, spelling and clarity.
- Creates print and electronic layouts using desktop publishing and Web content management system software.
- Develops, edits and produces short-format videos of special events and other special interests.
- Develops enhanced graphic images with optimization for web and NJTV using Photoshpo or Illustrator.
We are looking for a BS in Journalism, English, Communications or equivalent areas and 2 years of experience in a corporate communications environment.
