We are a major Orlando-based 501c3 nonprofit organization that raises funds for other nonprofits. Over the years, we have developed dozens of proven fundraising techniques and methods that often refute conventional beliefs.
Just one example; when sending out a “Save The Date” announcement (a “teaser” sent before the full formal invitation goes out) to ask patrons to save the date for their upcoming annual fundraising dinner or gala, most organizations make the mistake of sending a letter in an envelope. That doesn’t work anymore, because many people get so much mail they sort their mail over the wastebasket, and it’s very hard to get them to open an unexpected envelope.
The better way? Send a brightly colored oversize postcard. Ensure your message is visible on the top inch of the postcard when it extends over the top of all the standard size envelopes in the recipient’s hand, because it is oversize. Invitees don’t mind the informality and it produces much better results.
We want a blog writer who will take our many proven ideas and convert them into short daily blog topics. Ideas would come to you in either condensed written form or short audio pieces with our officers talking on the individual topics.
Please reply with a resume that highlights your writing experience. This an ongoing PAID assignment.
