SHAPE is the home for hip-hop intellect and hip-hop studies. It is a self-interested, honest, aware, progressive, and engaged publication. Hip-Hop can be and should be used to analyze current events and global struggles. SHAPE provides readers with Hip-Hop’s Shape of Public Affairs.
We take the voices of multicultural students, artists, and industry figures and allow them to express their views on what’s going on in the world using Hip-Hop as a frame of reference.
