Tuck Sleep is looking for an individual with at least 1+ years of web writing and research experience to contribute to our sleep portal and write on our behalf for other media outlets.
This is a remote, contract writing/research position with that pays either hourly or on a project basis – DOE. We are based in Seattle but the position can be done from anywhere.
The ideal candidate can develop amazing and effective content for online audiences. This person should have a passion for writing about sleep science, producing resources for communities, and crafting interesting stories.
In addition to creating content, this person must be skilled and enjoy deep internet research. Our content requires you to become an expert in the sleep industry, leveraging everything you can find online to develop unique analysis reports, rankings, and white papers. You will be responsible for writing and researching short and long form editorial, site copy and external blog/media contributions.
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or other related field
At least 1 year of writing/editing experience
Experience writing, editing, formatting, uploading content for the web
Experience with HTML / Google Docs
Experience with WordPress
Interest in writing about sleep product and sleep health related topics
Ability to derive insights from complex data and turn those into effective copy
Flexible writing style
Project based – DOE
