This is a long term contract position reporting to the Director of Public Engagement & Communications and working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager. The Writer & Editor will have a sophisticated approach to compelling copy creation, including well-honed, excellent writing, editorial, curatorial, and analytic skills and knowledge of the social change space. This position will be 30-35 hours per week with flexible hours.
From telling human-focused stories to developing business case studies to articulating global trends and perspectives, the Writer & Editor will be stimulated by the opportunity to ghost-write for a range of thought leaders and subject matter experts to engage and activate target audiences to understand and support social entrepreneurs driving systems change.
The Writer & Editor must relish having fingers on the pulse of global developments, patterns/trends, ideas, influencers, personalities, and stories related to social entrepreneurship.
