Freelance Writers can receive ongoing writing gigs through ContentWriters.com (est. 2012), an online content marketing agency that connects clients with the best writers to undertake the work. The company serves businesses and brands in various industries, including medical and healthcare, sports and gaming, Internet and technology, business and finance, and travel and lifestyle. Clients often need writers for many types of content, from writing short- and long-form articles to writing web content, blog posts and whitepapers.
The amount of work available to writers each day depends on the amount of new and open orders and if they align with the writer’s areas of interests. When clients submit assignments to the CW platform, team members select writers based on their background, skill-level, expertise, past performance, and writing style along with the prerequisites of the assignment.
Because ContentWriters thoroughly screens each writer’s experience to ensure they can produce high-quality content, writers must submit a resume and content samples, participate in a phone-interview, and pass a test that assesses both proficiency in English language and knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style.
Writers work from home and can accept as many or as few assignments that fit their schedule.
Compensation: writers earn 50% of the project rate (i.e. a writer earns $60 on an article that costs the client $120.)
