Inverse.com is seeking a freelance entertainment and culture writer to contribute 2-3 full days per week.
The culture writer should have the ability to pitch ideas and dissect various aspects of movie, television, and music news in a way that is pertinent for our young, educated demographic. These writers should have a clear voice and a desire to take entertainment stories one step further. The successful candidate will be obsessed TV and movies—ComicCon attendance would be a good sign—but also eager to use entertainment as a way to speak about broader social issues.
These writers will have the opportunity to work with experienced editors and get a front row seat to the launch of a new property. Freelance writers should contribute based on a day rate preferably from our Williamsburg office.
