Freelance Writers are invited to write high-quality content for clients of Influence & Co. (est. 2011), an established content marketing agency serving a diversity of experts in different professions and industries.
The agency relies on freelance writers to handle ongoing assignments to write “expert” content on behalf of experts who lack the time to author their own articles and blog posts. Based on ideas and feedback from each client, writers develop meaningful, engaging, and reader-friendly content in an authoritative voice and style.
Because the agency and client provide information as the basis of each content piece, the writer’s key responsibility is to form a strong editorial foundation to convey meaningful information to readers, including writing a coercive introduction and conclusion. Word length is from 600-900 words per article.
Freelance writers communicate with the agency’s editorial staff via Core, a internal software used to disseminate assignments, guidelines, and client information.
Influence & Co. is interested in outsourcing work to both generalists and specialists. It’s a plus if you already specialize in more than one industry, ranging from finance to technology. Familiarity with AP style is needed.
Compensation: per-article payment issued monthly. The agency also offers periodic raises and bonuses based on performance.
