Currently, the editors need experienced freelance writers to provide high-quality editorial content the site’s popular verticals, such as Arts, Food, Politics, Money, and Technology.
The Arts Writer will help develop the site’s extensive coverage of arts and entertainment, from writing about the newest cast changes for upcoming movies and TV shows to reviewing the best films on Netflix.
The News Writer will report on both local and international events driven by emerging and breaking news stories and supported by excellent research and interviews. This applicant should know how to optimize news stories to rank high in search engine results and drive readers to the site.
The Food Writer will cover diverse topics related to food and health, as well as curate recipes from the Internet and produce shareable listicles.
The Money Writer will report on money and personal finance, including topics on credit card debt and retirement saving.
The Politics Writer will report on U.S. politics, especially the 2016 election.
The Tech Writer will report on the most viral stories in technology, from the most recent Apple gossips to developments in self-driving cars.
Freelance writers must have strong reporting skills, follow Associated Press style, and meet all deadlines.
