The editorial team of the iZotope Blog needs content in the following categories:
Music production: Candidates must be passionate about music production and can explain information distinctly, succinctly, and engagingly. Readers want to know how they can use popular music production techniques and effects like layering instruments, using reverb, delays, synths, and more. Familiarity with iZotope’s creative plug-ins and effects is an asset, but not mandatory.
Mixing: Candidates will contribute stories on a variety of topics pertaining to mixing, such as how to mix in DAWs, hip-hop, EDM, etc. Familiarity with iZotope’s mixing software (Neutron) is a plus, but not required.
Mastering: Candidates will contribute articles on how to master for modern delivery formats (like Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music), as well as offer advice on how to use mastering techniques like multiband compression. Overall, posts will educate readers on modern mastering styles and industry best practices. Familiarity with iZotope’s mastering software (Ozone) is a plus, but not required.
The Spire.live Blog is home to Spire Studio, a portable, professional-quality recording device that allows musicians to create awesome-sounding audio. The editorial team needs content in two key categories: songwriting and recording.
Songwriting: Contributors will write blog posts on topics that help readers learn new songwriting techniques and skill-building exercises.
