The Rental Property Owners Association (RPOA) is seeking a freelance writer for its website knowledge base content. This is a temporary position and will be paid by article. Quality writing skills are a must. An understanding of legal terminology would be helpful. Experience in or knowledge of real estate and/or rental property management would also be beneficial. The total budget for this project is $3,600.
The RPOA is a non-profit business association providing benefits, support and services to real estate investors and rental property owners. A part of this support is providing quality knowledge base articles on the RPOA website at www.rpoaonline.org. The articles cover a wide variety of topics including but not limited to landlord-tenant law, evictions, court rules, fair housing rules and regulations, lead-based paint regulations, and other federal, state and local rules, ordinances and regulations.
Each article must be at least 1,200 words and begin with a title and paragraph that is “voice search and answer friendly.” Sources for article development will include existing in-house sources, other documentation and online sources. The RPOA will pay $45-75 per article, depending on experience, with an estimated total of 48 articles.
All articles will be reviewed and edited by the RPOA Executive Director and, where necessary, RPOA legal counsel. The RPOA reserves the right to edit or reject all content before final publication.
