Entertainment Writers: these writers work 3-4 full days each week developing content related to pop culture, movie releases, TV shows, celebrity gossip, etc.
Books Feature Writers: P/T freelance writers who contribute to the site’s Books section covering traditional, classic, and modern literature in the form of listicles, essays, commentary, and thoughtful editorials.
Fashion/Beauty Writers: these writers contribute content on fashion news, emerging beauty trends, designer clothes, skincare, hair and makeup tips, etc. Writers are required to work two full days, including weekends.
Bustle recruits writers who typically have:
- a degree in journalism/communications or similar.
- 2 or more years of experience in reporting, writing, and/or blogging.
- a flexible schedule to work weekdays and sometimes weekends, depending on the position. This includes early morning and/or evening work schedule.
