We’re hiring an entry-level professional resume writer to help draft resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles for a wide range of roles (primarily business/sales/marketing, project management, and technology).
Since it’s impossible to know everything about every industry, the ideal candidate knows how to research technical subject matter and ask good questions to better understand a client’s professional work history.
You’ll need a Windows computer, but we’ll provide all the software. The role is part time with potential for increased hours, and we’ll generally want someone who is available to have phone consultations with clients during the day sometime between 9am-5pm. Sometimes clients will request phone calls later in the evening, and you’ll have plenty of flexibility over your daily schedule, as long as you can put in some time each day.
There is potential for work on the weekends if interested. We’re currently looking at office space in North Austin, but until those plans are finalized, this position will be remote/work from home.
This is an entry-level position. If you’re a solid writer and you want to learn how to be an expert in professional/technical writing, as well as an advanced career guidance specialist, this is an incredible training ground.
