Are you a journalist who thinks like an investment banker? DealFlow Financial Products is a growing Long Island investment research publisher that’s seeking a superior senior writer/journalist to cover the alternative lending sector.
Specifically, we need someone to cover transaction activity and trends in areas such as marketplace lending, merchant cash advance, factoring, invoice financing, and revenue-based financing. We need a strong corporate finance reporter, experienced in reporting on finance and deals, and comfortable covering complex legal issues. Experience covering small business lending and/or marketplace lending is a plus, but not required.
We need an aggressive “follow the money” type who can drive the editorial content of our newsletter products, from 200-word news briefs to 2,000-word reports on market trends and events.
You should have at least two years of experience as a finance writer or journalist. An understanding of capital market dynamics and securities law would be a major plus.
We are open to freelance, part-time, and full-time applicants. Our office is in sunny Jericho, Long Island but remote work is fine if you aren’t local to the Long Island area.
