Bloomberg is seeking a skilled professional writer with a legal background to write articles, blog posts, white papers, and infographics on a project-to-project basis. The content will focus on various legal topics targeting a business and/or policy audience. The ideal candidate’s grasp of law issues must go much deeper than a layman’s understanding, and he/she should also have a strong portfolio of published writing. Content areas can include corporate law, e-discovery, white collar, litigation, tax law, and regulatory.
The writer should have a sophisticated grasp of legal issues and be able to locate sourcing on areas of law or policy that are unfamiliar to him/her. He/she should also be ready to occasionally conduct phone or email interviews as needed to add insights to the content. Writing samples developed for a B2B or expert-level audience are a plus.
This is not an entry-level opportunity. Pay is competitive, the work is remote, and all content is ghostwritten – no byline. We are looking to establish an ongoing relationship.
